Erlend Haarberg Landscape Photography Celebrates Nature, Life, Love

Erlend Haarberg landscape photography is a celebration of the natural world in its resplendent glory, from the many types of terrain one stands to come across to birds in full flight. Haarberg, who is based in Trondheim, Norway, has spent the past few years, since 2005 onward, working and travelling with spouse and fellow nature photographer Orsolya Haarberg. They have been “constantly being on the move to capture those memorable experiences in nature, with our cameras in our hands. Our projects capture different parts of the “Cap of the North”, in a never-ending search for eye-catching scenes, and the magic light that is so characteristic of this region. It is the desire to get back to our roots – to live with nature that inspires us to create the images that we do.” While Erlend says he feels “privileged for having the possibility to experience nature’s changing faces throughout the different seasons,” Orsolya has always been captivated by “the greatness of landscapes (…)Open scenes, where the Earth meets the sky on the horizon, are places where I love to be, searching for topics to photograph.”
